Aspidistra

Native to China, an evergreen and rhizomatous plant with elongated, very tough dark green leaves. The flowers are dark purple and appear in the lower part of the plant. It does not require much care and tolerates the absence of light. It grows well both in pots and in the ground, indoors and outdoors.
