Aloe
It is a genus of evergreen shrubby plants native to Africa and also naturalized in the Mediterranean basin. The leaves are almost always pointed, arranged in a rosette, with spines on the sides. The flowers grow in elongated clusters on tall stems. It adapts to cultivation in soil and pots on well-drained soils and substrates, as it does not tolerate stagnant moisture.
