Akebia quinata
Native to East Asia, it is a semi-evergreen climber with thin branches. It produces leaves green on top and bluish underneath, composed of five leaflets. The flowers are red-purple, appear in May-June, and are followed by dark red, oval-shaped, edible fruits.
