Ailanthus altissima (Ailanthus glandulosa) - Ailanto)

Native to China, it is a tree with a wide crown. The deciduous leaves are elongated, 5-6 cm long. It blooms in May with yellow-green flowers, while the fruits are red-orange. Often grows wild, adapts to climatic conditions and difficult soils. Does not tolerate sea air and pollution but is not very resistant to wind due to its fragile branches.
