Aesculus x carnea
Tree with dense foliage and a compact rounded shape. The deciduous leaves are large, 8–15 cm, and composed of 5 green leaflets, turning yellow-brown in autumn. It blooms in May with bright pink panicles of 15–20 cm, while the fruits are slightly spiny, round, and sparse. It has the same growing requirements and uses as A hippocastanum.
