Aesculus x carnea 'Briotii'
Selection born in France in 1858 with a rounded crown. The deciduous leaves are 10-15 cm long, formed by 5 green leaflets. It blooms in May with spikes larger than A. x carnea, with bright red flowers. It produces few fruits and has the same cultivation requirements and uses as A. hippocastanum.
