Acer platanoides 'Crimson Sentry'

Native to the United States. Similar to A. platanoides 'Crimson King' but with a pyramidal shape. It has denser foliage that turns dark purple in autumn. Blooms in April with flowers that have red petals and peduncle, and yellow stamens. Grows in all soil types, is disease-resistant, and suitable for small gardens.
